Hello! My name is Michael Campanile and I am a photographer and graphic designer based out of Asbury Park, NJ. I have had a camera in my hands since I was a kid, and have been shooting seriously for the past decade. So now I spend my time behind the lens capturing the moments that life puts in front of me...which means my superpower is I can freeze time. 

In 2011, I snuck my camera into a concert for the first time, and ended up having two of the photos from that night published in the book Photofantasm: Soundgarden. Twelve years later I am a photojournalist covering bands both big and small from the photo pit for Asbury Park Vibes Magazine, and occasionally for You Don't Know Jersey. I have also covered events for Light of Day, North to Shore Festival, and Asbury Park Porchfest, plus my photos have been used by Bad Religion, The Bouncing Souls, The Darkness, Lucero, and Blind Melon. 

My work is available to purchase directly or through my shop on Etsy. I also sell my prints at a variety of markets throughout New Jersey, and am a regular vendor at the Asbury Park and Trenton punk rock flea markets.
